Wresting Satan

As much as I believe that Jesus came to realize the truth of Oneness and then sought to teach this to his disciples, including Mary Magdalene who went on to establish her own mystery school teaching the way to love; I am reminded today of the value of perceived separation – especially when it comes to those things outside of us which seek to keep us from the path of our truth.

Satan, meaning adversary, is the representation and embodiment of all that wants to keep us from our original nature as One in love – whether we perceive it as within us or outside of us.

Outside of us, Satan shows up in:

  • Societal expectations.
  • Tribal customs and rules.
  • Worldly ideals which place value on externals – money, power, status, fame, material possessions, etc. etc. etc. over the place of real value which is within.
  • People who are threatened by our decision to step outside the tiny little box that our religions, communities, political parties, race, gender, orientation, etc. etc. etc. etc. seek to prison us within.
  • Any individual or structure which seeks to have power and control over another.
  • People who reject us or our gifts.
  • Feeling thwarted in the fulfillment of our gifts.

Every single thing which resides outside of us and tempts us to step away from our original inner state of contentment and joy is The Devil and when doing battle with Satan, it is helpful to think of it in this way.

I know, I know….this is the complete polar opposite of what all the new age/new thought/manifestation/secret and abundance people say.  They would say, “Everything that is happening outside of you is simply a reflection of what is happening within.”  But here’s the deal…..when I think of my own struggles in this way, it makes me feel TERRIBLE.   I feel shame.  I feel guilty.  I feel as if I am a failure and that I have done something wrong.  Believing in the idea that the difficulties happening outside of me are because I thought the wrong thoughts or didn’t believe hard enough or didn’t trust God enough or surrender enough, simply triggers my fear of not being perfect.  When this fear is triggered, the downward spiral of self-loathing begins.  You mean my anxiety is my fault because I don’t trust enough?  My fears over money are my fault because I’m not trusting in God?  I haven’t found “the one” because I’m not holding my vibration high enough to attract him?  Ignatius of Loyola would have had something to say about these so-called theories of “right thought.”

St. Ignatius of Loyola (1491 – 1556) was a pioneer in and became one of the foremost authorities on the process of discernment.  In his writings on discernment, he describes two distinct energies – one that reflects the Divine path for us and the other that reflects “the devil.”  He calls these energies, respectively, consolation and desolation.  If I apply Ignatius’ guidelines for discernment to the idea that what is outside of me is a reflection of the energy I am holding within, I find I have to call it desolation – the energy that represents the mark of Satan.  Those things outside of me that are tempting me (which I experience as fear, anxiety, worry, self-loathing, depression) away from my Oneness with God (which I experience as peace and contentment) are the Devil and when I think of them in this way, instead of feeling powerless or despairing, I feel strong, confident and empowered because I know what to do with the Devil outside.

When I know that Satan is hard at work trying to keep me from my path, I know how to respond.  I have learned that calling temptation what it is, giving it a name and a face, deprives it of its power.  I stand toe to toe with Satan.  I look him in the eye.  I name him for whom and what he is.  I call on Michael the Archangel, Jesus, Mary Magdalene, Archangels Kamael and Tzafkiel, all my ancestors and the communion of saints to surround me and I then proclaim Jesus’ own words when facing his own Satan, “Get behind me Satan.”  In this I feel strengthened and am able to return to the path of my truth – the path where I feel fulfilled and where I am at peace.

What tools are you using to confront that which tempts you away from your own natural state of inner peace?

Journey to the Holy Grail

Cross land and sea
Time and tide
To misty Avalon I fly.
Seeking what?
I do not know.
Unless it be a place called home.
Where kindred spirit join by chance,
Round the fire – the sacred dance.

Drawn through dreams of lifetimes past,
Seems ancients did this circle cast.
To Tor and Well and ancient spring.
The place I thought my Soul could sing.

Take care all those like me who’d go
For Avalon’s gifts cannot be foretold.
Where Michael and Mary ley lines greet
Ego and fear did meet defeat.

Gwyn Ap Nudd appeared as guide
For the hell I created could not be denied.
Following the labyrinth to the depths of my fears,
Often wondering, “Is insanity near?”

Attachment, rage, resentment and grief
Transformed in the fire while I prayed for relief.
My warrior’s heart tested in flame
Hoping here would be the gain.
When at last released me at the top of the Tor,
I collapsed in a heap – wanting no more.
Processing along the dragon’s back,
My Beloved Christ kept me on track.
He explained the attachment that stood in the way
Of knowing the peace and the love of each day.

To Chalice Well he bid me rest,
In the Mother’s arms I’d completed the test.
Finding her love hidden in stone.
In bud, leaf and wood, I remembered my home.
Then verse 12, Chapter 12 of Testament Old
The world of Joel that made me whole:
“Return to me with your whole heart
Don’t let fear keep us apart.”

An ocean of tears the floodgate released
As I was reminded of the true source of peace.
The love of Divine that resides in my heart.
Return to the Oneness from where we all start.
The Holy Grail now fully revealed.
I am this love and through it am healed.

The truth that Christ came to remind.
Is that when we seek we shall find.
That home is the love of the Divine deep within
This is our origin and where we begin.
It is ego that creates the false separation.
That caused us to fear Divine reparation.
In fact this love of Divine that is me,
Is the ground of my being and the place I am free.

Seeking for home in someplace external
Led me within to the love that’s eternal.
The Holy Grail is the truth of our being.
When we’re vessels of love for everyone’s seeing.
Allowing the love that’s in truth who we are.
To flow from our hearts to all near and far.
So Dorothy’s words take on a new meaning,
“There’s no place like home,”
Divine love – what we’re seeking.
My quest for the Holy Grail will go on
Knowing where spiral ends, we’ve only begun.

Authentic Freedom is a protocol and practice developed by Lauri Ann Lumby which supports you in identifying and then healing the fears that have kept you imprisoned by your past wounding and cultural conditioning.

Through recorded lessons, reading, discussion, mindfulness and creativity practices, you will be given the tools to identify, heal and transform the fears that:

There is not enough.
You are insignificant and have nothing of value to offer the world.
You cannot live as our most authentic selves.
You are not loved (or that love has to be earned or can be taken away).
You are not free to express our truth.
You do not know the truth.
You are alone.

At the end of this course, you will have the tools to support you in the continued liberation from your fears and the conditioning that has placed them there.

Taking Back Our Power to Choose
For the past 5000 years our world has been imprisoned by those who benefit from a people afraid. For 5000 years, we have been conditioned by institutions that manipulate and control us through fear, guilt and shame. Religious institutions, governments, corporations, banks, advertising, social media, education, health care, pharmaceutical companies and the insurance industry (to name a few) are all guilty of benefiting from a people afraid. As has always been true of feudal societies, only a few truly benefit from a culture rooted in fear. The rest are made to suffer while those who are manipulating us are getting rich at our expense.

When we stop believing in these fears by healing the conditioning that caused these fears in the first place, we are no longer vulnerable to manipulation and are free to choose love instead of fear. In choosing love, we are able to experience the peace, freedom and union spoken of by the ancients and which has been taught by the highest expression of every spiritual tradition on this planet.

It is time that we say NO MORE by taking back our power to choose by healing our wounds and transcending cultural conditioning.

The Dangers of Spiritual Bypass

Spiritual bypass can best be described as: “the tendency to use spiritual ideas and practices to sidestep or avoid facing unresolved emotional issues, psychological wounds, and unfinished developmental tasks”

(Welwood, J. (2000) [1984]. “Between heaven and earth: principles of inner work”. Toward a psychology of awakening: Buddhism, psychotherapy, and the path of personal and spiritual transformation. Boston: Shambhala Publications. pp. 11–21.).

In spiritual bypass, we avoid, ignore, deny, suppress and repress the challenges, difficulties, disappointments, and suffering that are inherent within the human condition.  Spiritual bypass also includes avoidance and denial of the shadow.  The shadow is made up of our unhealed wounds, unacknowledged fears and includes all the aspects of ourselves that we have rejected because we have deemed them unacceptable.

Spiritual bypass takes many forms, but in essence the action is the same – hoping, believing, acting as if we can simply meditate, pray, chant, or positively affirmation our struggles away.  The universal outcome of spiritual bypass is always the same and is best articulated in the Buddhist saying, “What we resist will persist.”  Through spiritual bypass, we are not dealing with, confronting, healing or transforming anything; we are simply sweeping it under the rug. As is true of everything we avoid, deny, ignore, the rug can only hold so much.  The rug will eventually explode and everything we have shoved under it will come out to haunt us.  Even if we are successful in keeping it all under the rug, what we have resisted and ignored will find its way out sideways – usually in non-loving behaviors toward ourselves or others. Often these behaviors become compulsive (ie: addictions), are disproportionate or uncharacteristic of our true nature.

Some very clear examples of spiritual bypass and the negative consequence of this pattern of behavior includes: the clergy sex abuse crisis, narcissistic behaviors, abuse, co-dependency, homophobia, violence against children, school shootings and other forms of terrorism.  What we resist will persist and what we suppress will find its way out whether we want it to or not.  I would further suggest that we are currently living in a world seriously caught up in its own bypass – ignoring, denying, projecting away the darkness and pretending that it is all ok when in fact it is not!  Societal bypass is exhibited in our divisive culture where many refuse to see the truth that is staring them in the face because it makes them feel uncomfortable (triggering their own unacknowledged anxiety or unhealed fears), or who instead of acknowledging their role in darkness that exists in our society, either ignore it or project the blame onto someone else.  The bottom line is that we cannot meditate, mantra, pray, “beam love,” think good thoughts, repeat positive affirmations, “La La” the darkness away. Until we learn to face our darkness (individually and collectively) we are guilty of bypass and the darkness will not only persist, it will become worse.

Now, I will wholeheartedly admit that I am not innocent as it relates to spiritual bypass.   I too have ventured down its path.  I will admit that it felt good there – for awhile – but eventually it kicked my ass! I have since learned that the only way out is through.  If we want to be free of our inner fears, unhealed wounds, and perceived imperfections, we have to go deep into them, feel them, wallow in them, and THEN through our spiritual practices, find our way through them.  In this, we are not covering the darkness with the light; neither are we turning the darkness into the light.  Instead, we are finding the light that is already present within the darkness – if only we have the courage to go there.

The work of dealing with our shadow and confronting all that is broken within us is hard!  It requires personal accountability, self-knowledge, courageous honesty, humility, vulnerability, and discipline.  It also requires the understanding and belief that in the overall scheme of things, what we are tempted to call “darkness” is in fact our light.  Within the struggle, suffering, struggles, challenges and all the things we want to deny or reject about our human experience is there to serve the light.  It is within these perceived challenges where we find our greatest gifts.

The Purpose of Evil

Before diving into the purpose of evil, I must first share a story. This is a conversation I had with my daughter when she was somewhere around the ripe old age of 14:

Me: “I wish all the evil and bad in the world would just go away.”

Daughter: “But mom, if that happened, there would be no anime.”

Me: …….

Me: …….

Daughter:  “You know, no heroes’ journey! What fun would that be?”

Me: …..

Me: “Sigh. You’re completely right! Out of the mouths of babes!”

This was not the first time I was bested by my wise daughter!  At the young age of 14, my anime-loving daughter was able to clearly see what I could not:

We need evil in our lives! Evil has a reason and a purpose.

The purpose of evil is ultimately for our benefit.

As my daughter so cleverly pointed out, if there wasn’t evil in the world, how would we ever be challenged to grow? In referring to the classic archetype of the heroes’ journey, my wise daughter said it all:

Evil provides the resistance we need to grow.

Human beings are not unlike plants in this regard. As a germinating plant needs the resistance provided by the seed to grow and is then further strengthened by the resistance provided by the rock and soil through which it must climb to reach the sun, so do we need resistance to grow. Being confronted by evil and the other difficulties and struggles of the human condition, we are being provided with an opportunity for this growth.

Unlike a plant which has no choice but to push through (or die), facing evil also gives us the opportunity to cultivate our will and our power to choose. Struggling with the evils of the human condition supports us in honing our conscience and our consciousness. Who do we want to be and how to we want to live and act? Continually, we are given an opportunity to succumb to evil, be led by evil, or alternatively to make the choice for love. When we choose evil, we suffer the consequences of that choice and are given one opportunity after another to choose otherwise. When we choose love, our path takes on a greater sense of ease as we flow gently toward the next opportunity for our growth. Then we have another opportunity to choose.

Evil is always working for our highest good – continually providing us with opportunities to choose and to grow. Our invitation is not to run from evil, but to face it head on, welcoming its lesson, and accepting the opportunity for growth.  In welcoming evil as a teacher, we are fully participating in our own heroes’ journey, and in doing so, writing our own anime adventure!

What kind of hero are you choosing to be?

Now Offering TAROT

I am honored and excited to now be offering Gnostic Tarot as one of my client services. I have been a student of TAROT (meaning wheel or law of life) for over thirty years.  From its roots in Jewish mysticism (Kabbalah), the Emerald Tablet, and Egyptian Gnosticism, to its evolution in medieval mystical societies to its modern-day use in Jungian Psychology as a useful archetype for the hero’s journey, I have found a universal application for TAROT wisdom as a personal guide, and as a tool for others in their Soul’s transformational journey. For me, TAROT has become part of my daily practice, and now I want to share it with you.

Gnostic TAROT guidance helps you in finding insights and support for where you are in the current stage of your Soul’s evolution, along with keys to answering the deepest questions of your heart. Employing my deep intuitive gifts and my knowledge and experience with the journey of human development, Gnostic TAROT guidance with me is more than just a reading. Through this work you will find inspiration, guidance, comfort, support, and even healing.  Additionally, you will be given effective tools for deepening the insights gained from each session.

Devils and Doorways

This morning in my meditation, I pulled the “Devil” card.  While some might cringe at the sight of the “devil,” this is actually one of my favorite cards (second only to Death), as it represents EMERGENCE. Specifically, emergence out of and from a time of difficulty, struggle, challenge, and yes, temptation. The Devil card represents the successful completion of a particular stage of initiation.  The Devil literally depicts the exiting through the narrow gate – as St. Margaret here is doing after vanquishing her own inner fears, obstacles, and hindrances to her Soul’s emergence. From this perspective, the Devil is not the enemy, but is instead the friend that provides the resistance we need to grow and to reach our Soul’s maturity. Hurray!  (thank you sir, may I have another?!)

The Devil’s emergence is not only for me, it is for all here who have been doing this deep work – tending to the voice of the Soul, moving through inner and outer obstacles to the Soul’s fulfillment, and doing it in the face of certain resistance from the material world, the expectations of others, and our own “status quo.”  Reports from this community are providing direct examples of our efforts making a difference, not only for ourselves, but for the world at large.  Examples from the world at large are perhaps the easiest to see as they are sooooooooo loud in their resistance!

The empire (the world based in fear, power, oppression, and control) is collapsing and those who have benefitted from the (now) dying world, are crying out in terror.  The way I’m most frequently hearing it described is this:

People are losing their shit!

Those who are deeply mired in the status quo, who have benefitted from a system that privileges them and remain imprisoned by the toxic conditioning that has separated them from their own truth are losing their shit. These are the ones that have no idea what to do with the anxiety that arises in the face of a system that is destroying itself, so instead of acknowledging the anxiety and doing something about it, the anxiety comes out in disproportionate actions and behaviors – fear coming out sideways. Grasping for control. Making ridiculous requests. Having tempter tantrums. Acting like children.

A New World is Being Born and Those Clinging to the Old are Freaking Out!

It’s a normal reaction to change, albeit an unhealthy one. I take these increasing, and growing louder examples as signs of positive change and a growing collective that is by our actions, and intentions, hastening the death of the old while giving birth to the new. The empire is facing its own “Devil’s journey” and we get to be on the other side watching it and cheering them on. Hopefully with love!

Falling in Love with Ourselves

The Soul journey is ultimately about remembering WE ARE LOVE. We were created by Love, for Love, for the purpose of Love. In order to live that Love, however, we first have to heal the places within us where we have forgotten we were Love, or told we weren’t Love, loved, or lovable; or that love had to be earned. Remembering Love is a life-long journey, and each step brings us closer and closer to the FREEDOM we were meant to enjoy in the human experience.

Loving Myself

In becoming my Wild Divine

I have finally fallen in love with

Myself.

No more apologies or explanations.

I am the Wild Divine

Having left behind

Guilt

Shame

and encultured shoulds.

Walking my own path.

Living my own truth.

Uncompromisingly dedicated to ME.

I Am the Wild Divine.

Luscious in my fullness.

Softened by time.

Freed of rigid angles

The sharp edges of resentment’s scorn made soft.

Living beyond the fray.

Thriving outside the norm.

The world’s never seen a woman like me before.

Mary Magdalene’s Message for Our Times

Below is the talk I presented for the Mary Magdalene Studies Association Annual Conference on 7/22/22. Video recording to follow.

We find ourselves at a critical place in the human evolution – a time during which systems which have been built on fear, power, oppression, and control are in a fast journey toward their own collapse.  It is a time not unlike the time in which Jesus, and the Magdalene, themselves lived. Jesus, through his own training and practice, uncovered the both the cause and the cure of what was ailing humanity and shared this knowledge and training with his disciples.  The cause was a lack of what we would now call “psycho-spiritual development.”  The cure was a transformational process which led its participants into what in canonical scripture Jesus called Malkuth (kingdom of God), and what is referred to as Anthropos in the gnostic gospels.

Having said all this, Christ departed.

The disciples were in sorrow,

shedding many tears, and saying:

“How are we to go among the unbelievers

and announce the gospel of the Kingdom of the Son of Man?

They did not spare his life,

so why should they spare ours?”

Then Mary arose,

embraced them all, and began to speak to her brothers:

“Do not remain in sorrow and doubt,

for his Grace will guide you and comfort you.

Instead, let us praise his greatness,

for he has prepared us for this.

He is calling upon us to become fully human (Anthropos).”

Thus Mary turned their hearts toward the Good,

and they began to discuss the meaning of the Teacher’s words.

Gospel of Mary Page 9:5-20

Mary, called Magdalene, was the one among Jesus’ disciples to fully embody these teachings.  This is evidenced in these words from Luke’s gospel:

After this, Jesus traveled about from one town and village to another, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God. The Twelve were with him, and also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases: Mary (called Magdalene) from whom seven demons had come out; Joanna the wife of Chuza, the manager of Herod’s household; Susanna; and many others. These women were helping to support them out of their own means.

Luke 8: 1-3

Jean Yves-Leloup in his translation and commentary on Mary’s gospel explains what it meant to be “cured of seven demons.”  He described it as a process of initiation through which its participants were freed of the inner “demons” that would otherwise infringe on their ability to be the most authentic self – the person God made them to be. This is further confirmed by contemporary authors writing about ancient alchemy including Dennis William Hauck.

In being cured of seven demons, Mary completed and then mastered the transformational process taught by Jesus, both experiencing Malkuth, and becoming anthropos – fully Divine and Fully Human.  In this, Mary was fully empowered in her unique giftedness and fully embodied her mission and purpose in this lifetime. She became sovereign unto herself by transmuting the unhealed wounds, past traumas, and spiritual fears such that she had now become a radiant temple through which her Divine nature could be fully expressed and manifest in the world.  As such, Mary, called Magdalene, became, like Jesus, a vessel and catalyst of Love in the world.

For 2000 years, this process of transformation has been both a closely guarded secret, and hiding in plain sight. In Mary’s own gospel, she describes a portion of that process:

“Freed from this third climate, the soul continued its ascent,

and found itself in the fourth climate.

This has seven manifestations:

the first manifestation is Darkness;

the second, Craving;

the third, Ignorance;

the fourth, Lethal Jealousy;

the fifth, Enslavement to the Body;

the sixth, Intoxicated Wisdom;

the seventh, Guileful Wisdom.

These are the seven manifestations of Wrath,

and they oppressed the soul with questions:

‘Where do you come from murderer?’

and ‘Where are you going, vagabond?’

The soul answered:

‘That which oppressed me has been slain;

that which encircled me has vanished;

my craving has faded,

and I am freed from my ignorance.’”

“’I left the world with the aid of another world;

a design was erased,

by virtue of a higher design.

Henceforth I travel toward Repose,

where time rests in the Eternity of Time;

I go now into Silence.’”

Having said all this, Mary became silent,

Gospel of Mary 16: 1-19, 17: 1-7

While we do not have the complete text of Mary’s gospel, between the pages that have been recovered and canonical scripture, we can stitch together an effective process for supporting human beings in becoming self-actualized. Self-actualized people know:

  • Who they are.
  • What their unique gifts are.
  • How they are being called to develop and share these gifts for the sake of their own fulfillment, and for the sake of the betterment of the world.

Additionally, self-actualized human beings are able to

  • Reason, discern and exercise their own truth.
  • Have cultivated a deeply intimate relationship with their own inner authority.
  • Are not blindly compliant with the status quo
  • And are naturally compassionate and caring toward others.

Jesus, and Mary Magdalene supported people in becoming self-actualized because they knew that those who had successfully achieved anthropos would naturally come together in the creation of a better world.

The need to support humanity in becoming self-actualized has never been more critical than it is today.  Fortunately, we have both scripture and Mary’s gospel to provide clues as to how we might accomplish this. We also have two systems from the ancient world from which I believe Jesus and Mary drew to create their methods.

  1. The Tree of Life from the ancient tradition of Jewish mysticism.
  2. The Chakra system from ancient India.

I have drawn from both in the creation of the tools I use in my own ministry of supporting people in becoming self-actualized. My book, Authentic Freedom – Claiming a Life of Contentment and Joy and the protocol which it describes is based exclusively on the chakra system integrating scripture with contemplative prayer and creative mindfulness to produce a simple yet effective protocol for freeing ourselves of our own “demons.” The Tree of Life figures prominently in the shadow and depth work I do with both clients and students in support of their journey toward anthropos.

When we apply the methods Jesus taught and which were perfected in Mary, such that she was given the title of Magdalene, we find ourselves living in a whole new world. Supporting others in doing the same, lead the way to the new world promised by the ancients, and fully articulated as the Holy Bride in the Book of Revelation:

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.  I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of the heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.  And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them.  They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.  He will wipe every tear from their eyes.  There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!  Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”    He said to me, “It is done.  I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.  To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life.  They who overcome will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children.”

Revelation 21: 1-7

The time to bring forth the new world is NOW and the Magdalene provides the example and the tools for doing so.  Self-actualization is the method and Love is the means.

Magdalene Training:

The Magdalene Priest and Priestess Training continues the work of Mary, called “Magdalene” as ordained by Christ by empowering you to live out the fullness of your unique giftedness – both for the sake of your own fulfillment and in service to the betterment of the world.

Potent Portal – Summer Solstice Report

Sisters, Brothers, and Friends,

Today we find ourselves in the center of the potent and powerful Solstice Portal. The portal began just before Tuesday’s full moon and will carry us through the final days of this week.

The 2022 solstice portal is especially potent as it marks final endings (last week’s full moon) and dramatic new beginnings. We have been preparing for this portal since early May, the fruits of which will unfold through October of this year.

Prior to May’s preparations for this portal, we may have found ourselves facing many deaths in our lives – literal and figurative. Things that were once life-giving and were bearing at least some fruit suddenly came to a halt (a halt that you may now be aware had been happening since late 2021).  Some were left empty-handed. No work. No vision for anything new. No amount of effort would bring about the new that was simply not yet to be.  We had to really let our old lives die.

As of May 1, sparks of the new were beginning to reveal themselves.  For some, what may have begun as glimpses and glimmers turned into a full-on revisioning complete with creating. This was a time of excitement and hope for new opportunities and new beginnings.

Then that full moon on June 14th pulled the plug. Some will have heard this HALT as the reminder that with new beginnings comes a time of rest. We must leave the seeds alone that we have planted so they can begin to take root. The time from the full moon to this week’s solstice is exactly for this.  Rest. Do nothing. Be still. Tend to the mundane.

While we have been biding our time, the energies of the impending solstice have been ramping up.  I’m hearing reports of vertigo, migraines, powerful waves of energy being felt, bizarre dreams and more. The big terminology I’ve heard is “a look back.”  This look back is taking on a wide variety of forms from old physical injuries and pains reappearing, mind loops of former life experiences (old loves, old jobs, old friends, old behavior patterns, etc.), and old fears. Just this morning I was awakened at 2am with a full-blown panic attack – for no reason whatsoever! I wasn’t even having a nightmare.  Just panic for the sake of panic.  UGH!

This look back is an opportunity to bid a final farewell to all that which represented our old lives (completed karmic contracts).  The symptoms of vertigo, headaches, energy waves, dreams, etc. are representative of our Souls’ receiving new instructions, upgraded programming, and revised blueprints for the new lives we have already gotten a glimpse of, but have not yet fully landed.

Remember this is a period of releasing and receiving so if you’re feeling a little under the weather, or just “not quite right,” be kind to yourself as you are being made ready to be catapulted into a whole new life for yourself and it’s normal to feel a little bit of the bends or something akin to altitude sickness as your body adjusts to the new programs coming in while simultaneously cleansing itself of the old that is on its way out.  Drink lots of water and listen to your body’s needs. For example, this morning I was hit by an overwhelming craving for a Hardee’s fried chicken sandwich, curly fries, and a Coke – the last thing I would normally choose to eat!

Finally, I want to say thank you!  Thank you for the critically important work you have done up to and including the ending of your karmic contracts. Your (often difficult) work was necessary for establishing the foundation for this next stage in humanity’s evolution. The work you will be doing moving forward is known by your Soul and will be revealed in perfect Divine timing and in perfect alignment with who you are and what you need at this stage in your own personal journey.  While one way of being has ended, the new promises to be more life-giving, more fruitful, and more in harmony with all you have come to know about yourself, your unique gifts, and your calling in this world.

The Force is with you!

Love,

Lauri
