The Devil at Your Door

The Devil at Your Door

The Irish are correct in their habit of holding good news loosely and for being always alert to the shoe that’s sure to drop. That shoe always drops, and good news is often followed by bad.  It seems to be the law of the universe.  This law has even been given a name – an Irish name at that: Murphy’s Law.

This universal law is also rooted in an often-forgotten spiritual reality.

When we are actively pursuing our spiritual growth and development, there will always be a “devil” knocking on our door.  There is truth in the religious saying that “a quiet mind is the devil’s playground,” but not in the way that the religious warn, and definitely not in the way they often prohibit spiritual practices for “fear of the devil.”  The devil who is knocking at our door is none other than ourselves – our ego attachments, false perceptions, unhealed wounds, non-loving conditioning, habitual behaviors, fears, and our attachment to the status quo.

Spiritual growth leads to change. The “devil” hates change.

Instead, the “devil” wants us to stay where we are. “He” wants us to remain small and imprisoned by our habits, our attachment to approval, our wounds, and our victimhood. The devil wants us to stay chained to the bars of the cell in which we are living that has been created by our past.

Our Soul, on the other hand, wants us to be FREE.

The Soul drives us to pursue opportunities for healing and growth. The Soul leads us toward the resources and tools we need to transform the pain of our past and to break free of it so we can know our original nature of LOVE and live out of that LOVE. The Soul guides us to those who will help us in this healing and drops gifts into our laps that will assist us along the way.

Every time we say YES to our Soul, the “devil” comes knocking at our door.

The devil shows up with all the weapons of our past wounding. In his arsenal are all the words, experiences, and thoughts that are sure to trigger our past pain and cast us into the hell of confusion, doubt, fear, depression, anxiety, panic, and self-loathing. Self-doubt is the devil’s best work. And yet, there is a gift in this.  The devil doesn’t come to cause harm, he comes for the purpose of asking us,

“Are you really sure you want to take this step toward your liberation?”

He then continues with reminders:  “Aren’t you really comfortable where you are? Isn’t the known far better than taking the risk toward something you don’t yet know? Aren’t you getting attention and other benefits from staying small?  What about the relationships that might have to end because they are solely dependent on you obeying the rules, keeping the peace, and maintaining the status quo? Won’t you miss that familiar pain and self-loathing? Why would you give all that up for the small chance that things could be better?  ….  And so on….

I have found that many, if not most, give into the devil’s pleadings. They forsake the opportunity for spiritual growth because a) they’re afraid, b) because they don’t have the tools or resources to recognize the true designs of the devil and then do something about it.  Freedom from the devil is possible – but only when we have the proper tools to meet him where he is at.

The devil is at home in our fears and unhealed wounds.

When we do the deep inner work of healing and transforming these wounds, the devil no longer has a place to live within us so he moves on in search of others he might torment.

What tools do you have for when the devil comes knocking on your door?

Authentic Freedom is a protocol and practice developed by Lauri Ann Lumby which supports you in identifying and then healing the fears that have kept you imprisoned by your past wounding and cultural conditioning.

Through recorded lessons, reading, discussion, mindfulness and creativity practices, you will be given the tools to identify, heal and transform the fears that:

  • There is not enough.
  • You are insignificant and have nothing of value to offer the world.
  • You cannot live as our most authentic selves.
  • You are not loved (or that love has to be earned or can be taken away).
  • You  are not free to express our truth.
  • You do not know the truth.
  • You are alone.

At the end of this course, you will have the tools to support you in the continued liberation from your fears and the conditioning that has placed them there.

Authentic Freedom, by Lauri Ann Lumby, transcends centuries of dogma to reveal the powerful and life-changing message at the heart of Jesus’ teachings and the universal truths at the core of every religion. The book’s unique approach offers an opportunity for the reader to heal the separation they feel within themselves, with God and with each other, ultimately revealing the truth of Oneness. Built upon the compelling integration of Eastern Energy Medicine and the 2000-year-old tradition of Christian, contemplative spiritual practices, Authentic Freedom revels a Dynamic and unifying path of spiritual transformation that speaks to people of all traditions and beliefs.

Not from Here

I am writing this missive for all my sisters and brothers who like me, feel like an alien in this world. There are many (if not most) days where I am truly certain that:

I AM NOT FROM HERE!

What’s funny about this is that I’ve never really been “from” anywhere. Having moved around a lot as a child – a trend that continued into adulthood, I’ve always been starting over – trying to make new friends, find a way to fit in (or not), etc.  Geographically I’ve always felt like

a stranger in a strange land.

Beyond the geography of things, I have never felt like I fit in or that I belonged. For one thing, I was way too smart!  From a very early age I saw through people, places, practices, teachings, rituals, and things. I questioned anything and everything that didn’t make logical sense or that struck me as just plain wrong. I saw through people’s lies. I knew when someone was phony. I understood (even without the language to describe it) that certain conditioning was just plain wrong. I had a very strong sense of right and wrong and others knew it.  As you can imagine, this got me into a fair bit of trouble – the straight A student with unsatisfactory conduct grades because I couldn’t help but challenge something when I knew it to be wrong.

I wasn’t trying to be an asshole.  I just knew in my heart that human beings were capable of so much more.  They could be honest, authentic, kind, gentle, generous, non-violent, loving, accepting, and peaceful. I knew this because

Where I come from people are kind and want to do good.

On this planet, however, it seems this is not always (rarely?) the case.  When I experience cruelty, violence, hatred, deception, betrayal, it breaks my heart.  When I see others being treated cruelly or unfairly judged because of the color of their skin or who they chose to love, my heart is crushed.  When I see people struggle with poverty, hunger, homelessness, joblessness, I feel the needlessness of this in a world that is abundant with everything people need to survive and to have a rich and meaningful life.

More troubling than this is it seems like nobody cares.  Very few are willing to take a stand for the real potential of human beings to create a kind and loving world where everyone’s needs are met and where we can all live in peace. When human beings are not willing to do the simple work of creating a loving world, I am even more certain that

I’m not from here.

It’s really quite simple. We live on an abundant planet and we have the resources, ingenuity, and technology to ensure the life of every species on this planet. We have the capacity within us to stop all wars and to redirect those funds to saving our planet, educating our children, providing meaningful work, and adequate healthcare to every single human being. The potential is within us and I know this to be true because it was true on whatever world I really came from.

Jesus said it really well:

“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.” John 15: 18-19

More proof that I’m really not from this world!

One-on-One Mentoring

Lauri has been called “one of the world’s best kept secrets.” Her work in supporting you in your journey of self-actualization is like nothing you’ve ever experienced.

No shiny objects! No gimmicks. No B.S.

Lauri supports you in getting straight to the heart of what is preventing you from living as your most authentic self and from experiencing enduring contentment in your life; helping you to identify and then heal and transform the wounds, past traumas, and societal conditioning that is keeping you from being free.

Seeing the Truth Beyond the Veil

I once had a friend beautifully articulate one of the gifts that has helped support me in my own journey while also being a tool through which I am able to be a source of support for others.  She put it this way, “Lauri, you have the ability of seeing the truth beyond the veil.”

I have indeed accepted this as being one of my superpowers.  In the Catholic tradition in which I was raised, this superpower would be considered a charism (a gift of the Holy Spirit) and would be called:

Discernment of Spirits

Traditionally, discernment of spirits is described as “the immediate and intuitive ability to capture the spiritual source of certain behaviors or ideas or to grasp the nature of the spiritual presence in people, places or things” (Catholic Spiritual Gifts Inventory, Weddell, 1997, p. 27).

Discernment of spirits might be thought of as the ability to detect “the devil in the room.”  I think of it more as being able to see the truth beyond the illusion and to hear the truth beyond the words.

I have experienced this gift in several ways.  My earliest recollection of this gift was in my uncanny ability to “read” the integrity (or lack thereof) of a person.  At a very young age I seemed to immediately know if someone was a liar, a cheat, or quite simply evil.  I also knew if they were an honest, authentically good person. The individual didn’t need to say a word or demonstrate an action. I simply knew. Later experiences with these individuals always proved my earliest sensations (discernment) to be true. In hindsight, I can humbly say that my discernment of spirits in 100% accurate. The challenge has been to believe it and not give into the societal conditioning that tells us we must “give them the benefit of the doubt.”

At 57, I uncompromisingly believe my first impressions of people because I find I have never been wrong.

The other, and perhaps most helpful use of this gift is in working with clients and students. I see and sense that which is holding them back from living their truth. I see and sense resistance, fears, unhealed wounds, and past traumas, as well as beliefs and behaviors based not in truth, but in conditioning. When facilitating process work with a client, I might ask them a question and in whatever way they respond, I can tell if that is the path of inquiry to continue, or if there is something “hiding” behind their words.  The client will often say one thing, but I hear or sense another.  It’s difficult to describe.  I just know that there is something hiding that seeks to be known – something that is their REAL truth and not just that which they show to the world or want to believe about themselves.

Admittedly, seeing the truth beyond the veil is not always pleasant.  Sometimes I see, sense, or know something “the other” doesn’t want to know or doesn’t want others to know about them.  I have known, for example, that certain individuals were choosing the wrong partner or venturing down a path of failure. I have also sensed decisions that would open doors to liberation and freedom for an individual – decisions they may or may not be willing to make. It’s one thing to share these awarenesses in a client/practitioner relationship.  It’s another thing when what you are seeing and knowing is related to a family member or friend.  Having the ability to see the truth beyond the veil requires me to carefully discern in what circumstances it is appropriate to share what I know and when it is best to remain silent.

Silence, I have learned is also one of my superpowers.

Discovering and learning about your own unique giftedness and how you are called to use those gifts is one of the critical stages of the Magdalene Priesthood Training (for women and men) and the Authentic Freedom Mastery Training.

When Given the Gift of Prophecy

One does not ask for the gift of prophecy.  If one were to ask for this gift, they would not know for what they are asking as the gift of prophecy often feels more like a curse than a gift.  I know this because I am one who has been given this gift. It is not with pride, but with deep humility and some personal agony that I acknowledge this gift.

used with permission: Catherine E. Case

Prophecy is a many-edged sword.  It allows us to see the sign of the times – to understand what will happen if humanity (or individuals) continues on its current path. With this gift we are provided with the tools and steps that could be taken to turn a path of potential destruction into one of peace, harmony, and fruitfulness.  We are called (compelled, forced) to share what we see and know with an audience that is most often deaf to our words. Herein lies the pain of being a prophet:

  • We often find our words and our very selves ignored.
  • We are accused of being insane.
  • People turn against us for speaking the truth. (Sometimes we don’t even need to speak it.)
  • People hate us for seeing the truth they don’t want to see for themselves.
  • We are condemned for challenging the world to let go of the status quo and the perceived comfort therein in favor of actions that could lead to a better world.

Being a prophet is a lonely calling for which we don’t get paid.  Prophecy leads not to welcome and acceptance, but to rejection and condemnation. I know this because it is exactly what happened to me – most specifically in my (now former) relationship with the Catholic Church – more generally as it relates to some acquaintances, friends, and the world at large.

No one in their right mind would ask for the gift of prophecy.

And yet, here it is. As it relates to the gift and calling of prophecy, I take comfort in these words from the prophet Jeremiah:

The word of the LORD came to me, saying:
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I dedicated you,
a prophet to the nations I appointed you.

            But do you gird your loins;
                        stand up and tell them
                        all that I command you.
Be not crushed on their account,
                        as though I would leave you crushed before them;
for it is I this day
who have made you a fortified city,
a pillar of iron, a wall of brass,
                        against the whole land:
            against Judah’s kings and princes,
                        against its priests and people.
They will fight against you but not prevail over you,
for I am with you to deliver you, says the LORD.

Jeremiah 1: 4-5, 17-19

As one endowed with the gift of prophecy I have no other choice but to continue in its use – seeing the signs of the times and sharing what I see as a way humanity just might save itself from itself. As Jesus often said, this gift is will be received by “those who have ears to hear.”

A Great Disturbance in the Force

Sisters and brothers,

I write this to you with trembling fingers and an anxious heart. There is a grave disturbance in “The Force,” and if you too are an empath, you are likely feeling it.  I pen this today to assure you that you are not alone!

There is much in the world that is contributing to this disturbance:

These are just a few examples of what may be causing (or continuing to cause) a Disturbance in the Force, and they all point to one single thing:

Complete and total systemic collapse.

As Jesus said, “a kingdom divided against itself cannot stand (Mark 3:24, Matthew 12:25).”  Not only are we a kingdom divided. We are a world divided. The disturbances we are experiencing today will continue to heighten as we approach the end of the system of fear, power, oppression, and control that has ruled our world.  A system that by its own design is rooted in division and has no future but collapse.

We are witnessing and living through the collapse.

The question for many of us is, “how do we survive the collapse?”  Sadly, many have not, and many more will not. Human life is sadly one of the costs of collapse. With the reality of human casualties in mind, the first order of business is to:

tend to our dying and grieve their loss.

Tending to our dying and grieving their loss is and has become a necessary act of self-care. Tending to our grief will become increasingly critical as the world continues to divide in its journey toward collapse:

  • grieving relationships we might lose
  • grieving the loss of what we have known as our day-to-day lives
  • grieving the destruction of our planet
  • grieving the hardness of heart of some human beings
  • grieving the loss of the illusion of security, safety, and control
  • grieving the on-going unveiling of evil and corruption in our world
  • grieving the loss of the illusion of the “system having our back”

As the world as we have known it collapses, there has been and will continue to be much to grieve.

What support do you have for processing grief?

Speaking of grief, what support do you have for processing the shattering of illusions? A system based in fear, power, oppression, and control, gets that power through deception.  Straight up, bold-faced lies about how the system “protects, provides for, and cares about its citizens.”  A system built on fear, power, oppression, and control only cares about one thing – ITSELF.  As the system continues in its collapse, more and more of these falsehoods will be revealed along with the loathsome and hideous reality of what has been hiding behind the veil.

What support do you have for processing deception and betrayal?

As the veils hiding the reality of the system are torn away, so too will be the veils of those who have benefitted from the system. There is an old saying about “the Father of Lies” ruling the world.  Success in a world ruled by lies is best secured by those living the lie – either lying to themselves, or lying to the world about who they are and what they are offering and promising (ie: Joel Olsteen). Those lacking integrity will be made known  – some of whom you may have depended on as perceived sources of support.

What support do you have for grieving these lies?

While we cannot save a world in its collapse, we can take measures to support ourselves in navigating and hopefully surviving that collapse.

  • It begins with paying attention to what is happening around us and being willing to see (and feel) the reality of things.
  • It is then a matter of self-care – caring for our fear, our grief, our anxiety, our worry, our sorrow, our disappointment, our shock and trauma.
  • It is about knowing when we have exhausted our own efforts of self-care and when we need to reach out to another for support.

Who are the people on your support team?

I want to close this musing with the reminder that on the other side of every loss, death, disappointment, betrayal, and systemic collapse, is the promise of new life. New life is found after we have taken the time to grieve our losses and heal our wounds, but the seeds of that new life have already been planted.  It is my hope and my vision that the new world on the other side of this collapse is kinder, gentler, more peaceful, collaborative and harmonious than the world we know today.  I, for one, am looking forward to that new world that I have already begun to build for myself.  Which brings me to my final question:

What tools do you have for building your own new world?

Learn more about Lauri’s services HERE.

Lauri Ann Lumby was born with a deeply introverted (yet social) and contemplative spirit. She is gifted with seeing the truth beyond the illusion and because of this gift, has been called a mystic, a visionary, and a prophet. Lauri is also a catalyst, meaning that those things that are stuck or which need to come to an end begin to move, simply because of her presence. This reality has earned her the designation of “Priestess of Death” – a title she willingly embraces knowing that in every ending is the promise of new life.

Deepening

So far, January has not been at all what I expected. At 57, I’ve learned to be pretty much free of expectations, so I’m not sure what I thought 2022 would bring….but certainly not this.

I’m not even sure what “this” is. Certain things are obvious:

  • A world on the brink of war.
  • A raging pandemic.
  • Continuing conflict over vaccines, masks, conspiracy theories, etc.
  • Government corruption.
  • Increasing restrictions on reproductive rights and access to voting.
  • The on-going unveiling of the evils of the ruling system.

Sadly, this has all become “business as usual.”  War? Famine? Pestilence? Death? Everyday occurrences – right?! As Lord Varys (Game of Thrones) once said, “Perhaps we’ve grown so used to horror, we assume there is no other way.”

The good news is there is another way.  It is the way I am choosing:

As the world continues its path of self-destruction, I’ve been serving as objective witness while quietly building my own new world.

As one cannot stop a runaway train, neither can we prevent the current world from its unraveling. It needs to unravel, but we don’t need to unravel with it. Instead, we can observe the world in its dying from a place of detachment, non-judgment, and non-reaction. Letting go of our need to control or “save” the dying world frees us to get on with the real business at hand:

Building our own new worlds.

Building my own new world is exactly what I find myself doing. It’s quiet work. It’s also mostly invisible. And it begins with choice. Asking myself:

  • To what do I want to give my energy and attention?
  • With whom and how do I want to spend that time?
  • In what do I find meaning and purpose?
  • What gives me joy and helps me find peace?
  • What feels like a good balance between solitude and engagement?
  • What do my body and soul need to feel healthy and whole?
  • How do I want to move within and upon this world?

For the past many months, I’ve been seeking the answers to these questions and as the answers arise, I have been choosing them. Now I’m being given an opportunity to put these answers into practice. The result has been a quieter, gentler, more peaceful and contented existence than what I had before – especially when the before was very much defined by societal conditioning and the expectations of others. No more! Now I’m living by my choices around what gives me peace and realizing the rewards of that choice. If I could provide a single image to what my new world looks like, it would be this:

Not a Life Coach

It is easy for many to assume that the mentoring work I do is a sort of life coaching.  It is not.

There is an appropriate time and place for the kind of behavioral change and strategic planning favored in life coaching, cognitive behavioral therapy, and recovery programs. There are times in all our lives where we must make a concerted effort to change certain behavior or thought patterns, for our own wellbeing and the wellbeing of others. There are also times when it is helpful to have a strategy and accountability in making that change.

Whereas Life coaching, cognitive behavioral therapy (without process work) and recovery programs tend to place their focus on the externals, the services, and programs I provide focus on the internals.

The work that I support clients and students in accomplishing focuses its attention and work on the internal wounds, false perceptions and conditioning that created the unhealthy thoughts and external behaviors in the first place. When we heal these wounds, the unhealthy thoughts and behaviors simply become no longer necessary. The transformational work in which I support my clients and students creates enduring, long-term healing, thereby eliminating the effort required when we are otherwise trying to change.

Here we no longer need to try because our being itself has changed.

That does not mean that the support I offer doesn’t require work.  In fact, it might be the most difficult work one might accomplish in one’s life. It is for this reason that few find themselves drawn into this work and fewer remain.  To stare down the barrel of our deepest wounds, past traumas, false perceptions, and patriarchal/hierarchical conditioning requires an enormous amount of courage. It then takes persistence, tenacity, discipline, and support to stay with the deep process work that liberates us from these wounds so that we can really and truly be free.

This work might be compared to the fire of a forge that releases metal of its impurities while bringing forth what is precious within.  Through my support, those who do this work discover the truth of who they have always been – beautifully unique and precious in their own way, and confidently empowered to be their truest self in the world for the sake of their own fulfillment and in service to the betterment of the world.

While the work requires effort, the outcome proves to be effortless.

Podcast Interview on the Magdalene

I am humbled and honored to have been interviewed by Dr. David Morelos for the Psychology After Dark podcast, “Secret Teachings of the Magdalene” Listen HERE.

The story of the life of Jesus Christ is one of the most quintessential in all of humanity, and is celebrated across many cultures. And yet, many argue that parts of his life are still shrouded in mystery. His complicated relationship with the enigmatic Mary Magdalene, for instance, is one such mystery. Some scholars argue that Mary Magdalene was more than just a follower of Jesus, but a spiritually realized partner who would continue to teach after his death and resurrection. What are the teachings of Mary Magdalene? How was her role in the life of Jesus Christ marginalized in history? How does an acknowledgment of a divine feminine side of the Jesus mythology change-and potentially enrich-the understanding of his teachings? Join Dr. Morelos as he interviews author and fellow transpersonal scholar Lauri Ann Lumby about the secret teachings of Mary Magdalene. This special bonus episode drops Wednesday, January 12th!!!

SPOILER ALERT: David and Lauri discuss plot lines from the The Matrix Resurrections movie in this episode! Hopefully we don’t give away too much!

Is the Bible Still Relevant?

YES, but not in the way many religious institutions would have us believe.  While some (many) have used the Bible to manipulate the masses and to put forth their own hidden (or sometimes not so hidden) agendas, this is not how scripture proves relevant to us today.  I should probably qualify that statement….if our desire is for separation, then using the Bible to put forth dogma, justify separative actions, or to sell the story of a God who wants you to be wealthy, then that is how one will use the Bible.  If, however, our desire is for unity and for humanity to come together in harmony with one another, then we are required to approach scripture in a different way.

While the Bible is the inspired word of God (Truth, Love, The Divine, by whatever name you call the Source and Revelation of all that is), so too is every example of the written word.

As we become increasingly aware of the wisdom traditions and sacred writings of other cultures, we discover an abundantly flowing wellspring of wisdom.  As the Western world grows increasingly disenchanted with institutional Christianity and discovers the compassionate teachings of our friends in the East or from the Native people who were here before the European invasion, the temptation is to exchange the traditions in which we were raised for these “new age ideas.”  The problem is that there is nothing “new” about New Age, neither is there something unique in Buddhism, Hinduism, Zen, Paganism, or Native traditions that we cannot find in our own traditions.

This is where the rich tradition of Christian contemplative practices proves helpful.  (Note:  there is also nothing unique to the tradition of Christian contemplative practices. Expressions of all the practices we call “Christian” can be found in the Jewish faith out of which Christianity emerged, and also within the spiritual practices of the cultures in which Judaism was immersed.)

With these practices, we can approach scripture through the lens of inquiry and as a tool through which we can discover and discern our own truth.  In this way, scripture acts like a mirror, reflecting the guidance, insights, learning, comfort and healing we need in the present moment.

Whether we think of God as the Divine Source of all that is, or as a reflection of our highest self, when applying contemplative practices to scripture, “God” is providing us with what we need.  It is through these contemplative practices that we come to know the God of our own understanding while at the same time coming to know ourselves.  In this way, scripture can be our teacher, our source of guidance and direction, our healer, our counselor, and our comforter.  St. Paul says it well in this epistle:

Beloved:
Remain faithful to what you have learned and believed,
because you know from whom you learned it,
and that from infancy you have known the sacred Scriptures, which are capable of giving you wisdom for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for refutation, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that one who belongs to God may be competent, equipped for every good work.

2 Tim 3:14-16

The above is an excerpt from my latest book, Choosing Love – Lessons and Practices for Personal and Global Transformation.

Choosing Love is a collection of fifty-two spiritual lessons and practices for personal and global transformation. These lessons and practices invite you to shake off the cloak of cultural conditioning and discover the freedom of the LOVE hidden within. Here there is no God to appease, no outside perceived authority whose approval needs to be earned, and nothing that can keep you from being and living as your most authentic self. LOVE is who you are. Choose that LOVE.

Freedom from Longing

It could be said that longing is the bane of human existence, but it would be more accurate to say:

Misdirected Longing is the Bane of Human Existence

Longing is the natural consequence of choosing the human condition.  Longing arises out of our false perception of separation from Source.  Longing is the calling of the Soul to return to Union, drawing us home to ourselves. The destination of longing rightly directed is an embodied experience of peace, contentment, and joy.  Here we feel safe and secure in all that we are and with all we are experiencing because through deep inner work, we have freed ourselves from longing by coming home to ourselves.

Misdirected longing, in contrast, provides no fulfillment because instead of turning our longing inward we have projected it outward. Misdirected longing is rooted in the belief that our longing will be satisfied by something outside of us.  We believe, and have been led to believe, that the fulfillment of our longing will come when we make enough money, find the right job, achieve the next promotion, find the next true love, move to a new location, find a new home, buy that new car, etc. etc. etc.  We are also told that longing will be fulfilled when we lose weight, achieve a certain dress size, find a remedy to the signs of our aging bodies, buy a new wardrobe, etc. etc. etc.

Longing projected outward will always leave us dissatisfied, unfulfilled, anxious, and insecure.

We are freed of longing when we turn that longing inward – directing it toward all the parts of ourselves that feel unloved, unacceptable, imperfect, and flawed. In freeing ourselves of longing we are also invited to direct that longing inward toward every experience of our lives that we have judged as wrong, shameful, mistaken, or misguided.  Longing arises when we have forgotten that we are LOVE and that everything happening in our lives has come about for the purpose of that LOVE. Longing finds its fulfillment when we remember that LOVE – this alone is the purpose of the human experience.

Mary Magdalene and the Path of Beloved Partnership Live/online course

Starting January 17, 2022

Beloved Partnership is a term that has been alternatively associated with concepts such as soulmate or twin flame.  Beloved Partnership is neither of these.  Beloved Partnership has nothing to do with the human pursuit of external love.

Instead, the longing for Beloved Partnership and its resulting pursuit can only be satisfied from within.
